On April 10th 1933 the German-American Musicians Association was born! On April 26th 2008 we invite you to join us in celebrating seventy-five years of Culture, Musik und Gemütlichkeit! If you were with us at our fiftieth anniversary celebration, we thank-you for helping us to get to where we are today! We also ask you to please consider renewing your support for another twenty-five years! If you are joining us for the first time, we ask you to please consider supporting the cultural heritage of Western New York! Either way, you will NOT want to miss this party! Culture is the spice of life and YOU can become a major part of it! Enclosed you will find a form to help you decide your level of support.
Our Mission
To promote and cultivate social relationships and fellowship among persons who are interested in music from the German-speaking lands and to bring together all persons interested in a dedication to the preservation of German music and culture in American society.
These are truly exciting times in America! We are in the midst of a resurgence of cultural traditions not seen for many years. Younger generations are becoming more aware of their heritage and are actively seeking out the ethnic roots that make life so much more interesting. What is life without great music, food and drink? This is exactly where the G.A.M. has found our calling but we also cannot do it without people like YOU!
